Short Description

Responsible for communication between all customers via telephone.

Customers include employees, members, physicians, referral sources, and providers.

The communication includes, benefit coverage, medical services, appeals and grievances,

provider access and availability, claims investigation.

The position utilizes computer terminal to manage and obtain essential information.

Researches inquiries and demonstrates a strong ability to resolve issues according to the

Plan document and policies and procedures.

Refers unsolved inquiries and corrections to the appropriate analyst for resolution.

Achieves maximum time effectiveness and customer service by answering all incoming

phone calls within 3 rings.

Provides clerical and telephone support for Case Management program.

Maintains provider file compliance according to directive.

Performs duties as assigned by Supervisor within the scope of knowledge and skill.

Special Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

Experience:

Previous customer service experience.

Medical or health insurance background preferred.

Required License/Certifications/ Registration:

VIEW JOBS 1/13/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-04-12T00:00 The Shipment Support Representative will be in charge of maintaining up-to-the minute status updates on all brokerage shipments and supporting carriers / drivers looking for information on NFI Brokerage shipments. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: * Receive inbound phone calls from carriers / drivers / shippers that have a need for information related to their order. This may include providing information such as addresses or directions to a given location. * Utilize Brokerage TMS systems to address issues and document interaction with client / vendor. * Deal directly with carriers for tracking and tracing (via on-line tracking tools or through telephone contact). * Follow specific escalation process in the event of major service failure / issue. * Respond promptly to carrier needs. * Provide the Sales/Carrier reps with real time information where required. * Accurate and timely entry into operation system of loads status. Requirements: * High school diploma, general education degree or equivalent. * Type 35 plus words per minute. * Knowledge of customer service principles and practices. * Communication skills – verbal and written. * Listening skills. * Customer-focused team player. * Time management skills. * Computer knowledge of Outlook, Gmail and MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.). * Well organized with high attention to detail and accuracy.
