Due to our exceptional growth and success, we are currently seeking a Clinical Liaison to join our team.
As a Clinical Nurse Liaison you will serve as an expert consultant to hospital staff, and a clinical educator and advocate for patients, with the goals of raising awareness about the benefits of home infusion and optimizing the transition of care for patients referred to BioScrip. As a clinical expert, you will educate patients, physicians, case managers, and all customers regarding disease states, infusion therapy, transitional care management, and BioScrip programs and services.
You will facilitate patient care coordination for patients referred to BioScrip, including initial patient set-up and patient/caregiver education. The balance of your time will be spent interfacing with healthcare professionals and hospital staff in an effort strengthen our partnerships and grow the company business through referrals.
Candidates are nurses with excellent clinical and relationship building skills. Strong communication skills are a must.
This position requires a RN license and previous experience in a clinical marketing role is preferred. Home infusion experience desired.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required, BSN preferred. Current Registered Nurse licensure in good standing in state of practice required.
CPR certification is required. CRNI preferred.
A minimum of two (2) years current nursing experience in a clinical specialty involving infusion therapy is required, including patient assessment skills, venous access skills and emergency patient care, with at least one (1) year of home health experience.
Skilled in troubleshooting problems and have excellent customer service skills and demeanor
Prior Sales and Referral Development experience is preferred
Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a driving record which meets company's standards and must have auto insurance in effect at all times.
