This position provides assistance to the Director of Clinical Rotations for management of the shadowing and clinical rotations for LUCOM OMS III and OMS IV students. Assist the Director in maintenance of student clinical rotation schedules, pre and post examinations, end-of rotation exams, and all evaluations.

Duties include: Demonstrate experience and expertise in Psychiatry that ensures the integration of scientifically based, outcome evaluated clinical knowledge and skills, biomedical sciences, and osteopathic principles and practices for preclinical, clinical and GME students; provide clinical psychiatry services to patients at LUCOM clinic, service to the university and professional communities and engage in innovative scholarship and research to advance medical knowledge and clinical programs. Minimum Qualifications Minimum qualifications: 1.Terminal degree (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine or Medical Doctor degree) with current Board Certification in psychiatry. 2.State medical license (Virginia) or license eligible 3.Demonstrated leadership and productivity in the areas of clinical or professional service, scholarly activity, medical research or education. 4.Good standing with all regulatory and governmental boards and agencies. 5.Eligible for coverage by college's malpractice insurer if applicable. Preferred Qualifications 1.At least two years of clinical experience in the treatment of psychiatric disorders preferred. Academic rank determined by experience and credentials that meet school-wide criteria for rank and review by the Appointments and Promotions Committee. 2.Demonstrated leadership, productivity and administrative experience in clinical, professional, research or educational settings.
