Clinical (Rn) Supervisor Outpatient - Primary Care

We are currently seeking a Clinical Outpatient Supervisor to join our team. The Clinical Outpatient Supervisor will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of our outpatient clinic, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of patient care services. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a passion for providing exceptional patient care.

The Clinical Supervisor Outpatient is responsible for the administration and application of all clinical nursing functions, procedures and protocols. Supervises clinical operations, direct patient care, and patient education. Coordinates and facilitates patient care progression throughout the healthcare continuum. Manages patient care effectively and timely by working collaboratively and maintaining active communication with members of the primary care team.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversees and assists team members in assigned functional area, which may include but not limited to, ensuring team is meeting key-deliverables and quality standards, addressing and resolving challenges, managing and tracking performance, and assisting in time management and scheduling; escalates issues to senior leaders as needed.

• Supervises clinical operations, direct patient care, and patient education.

• Responsible for the administration and application of all clinical nursing functions, procedures and protocols.

• Coordinates and facilitates patient care progression throughout the healthcare continuum.

• Manages patient care effectively and timely by working collaboratively and maintaining active communication with members of the primary care team.

• Utilizes standards, guidelines, policies, procedures and clinical pathways for delivery of care.

• Improves clinical operations through utilization of data and the quality process. Actively participates in clinical performance improvement activities.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Basic Life Support

Licensure

• Licensed Practical Nurse

• Upon Start. Preferred Registered Nurse License in the Commonwealth or Virginia

Experience

• 1 year of nursing or related healthcare experience. Preferred: RN experience in a clinical setting.

Education

• Vocational/Technical School

• Nursing. Preferred: Associate's degree in Nursing
