Clinical Resource Nurse- Emergency Department (Level 1 Trauma Center)

Job Description

Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City is looking for a Clinical Resource Nurse to join our Level 1 Trauma Center.

Some duties will include:

• Assist the manager in planning, organizing, directing and coordinating the day-to-day operation of the patient care unit.

• Serve as a positive professional role model, exhibiting clinical leadership and decision-making skills.

• Act as a resource for maintaining departmental records, scheduling, staff development and other special projects.

• Maintain the same competencies as a bedside RN.

Shift- Evenings

Flexible scheduling, no minimum weekend or major/minor holiday requirement. Hours may be flexed to meet the 40hr per week commitment.

The candidate hired for this position will be expected to earn their CEN in the first year of hire.

• Required experience: at least 2 years as RN
• Preferred experience: 3-5 years as RN, CEN- Certified Emergency Nurse

• American Heart Association or Red Cross

Bachelor's Degree

• Nursing
