Job Description:

The Clinical Resource Nurse (CRN) performs activities related to orientation, training and development of clinical staff in the ambulatory space. The CRN assists in planning, implementing and evaluation of clinical education activities/programs for clinical staff utilizing data and quality metrics to drive clinical outcomes as well as supports clinical student learning in their assigned clinics.

Required Qualifications:

  • BSN - will consider other nursing degrees on an individual basis

  • 2-3 years related experiences

  • Individual and group teaching experience

  • Experience in developing and evaluating training materials

  • Valid driver's license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.

  • Currently licensed as Registered Nurse and able to practice in the State of Wisconsin

  • Reads, writes and is fluent in the English language.

  • Proficient computer knowledge and skills to include: word processing, spreadsheets, power point creation, email, web browsers and electronic medical record

  • Ability to adapt and flex to dynamic clinical environments and to the needs of learners

  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with other key stakeholders

  • Consistently meets deadlines and department initiatives

  • Excellent planning and organization skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MSN

  • Outpatient/Ambulatory experience

  • Electronic medical record experience

  • Experience working with the adult and pediatric population

  • Knowledge in adult learning styles

  • Advanced knowledge of electronic medical records for patient charting

  • Successful instructional training methods for clinical staff and providers

VIEW JOBS 4/4/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-07-03T00:00 Job Description The Clinical Informatics Pharmacy Specialist is responsible for applying analytical and technical skills in conjunction with project management methodologies to support the design, analysis and implementation of applications that assist providers/clinicians in the delivery of patient care. Functions as a consultative resource to providers/clinicians and departments for clinical information systems technology. Work with physicians, other health professionals, and information technology staff to produce the best possible health outcomes related to medications prescribed, prepared, and dispensed via the electronic health record. The Clinical Informatics Pharmacy Specialist uses their knowledge of medication safety and pharmacology to design processes that account for a patient's allergies, possible interactions and dose calculations. Applies knowledge of clinical drug information in the conceptualization, development and implementation of clinical decision support, interactions, compatibility and drug calculation within the electronic health record; provides leadership across our system of care; develops and implements solutions in collaboration with information technology staff, the pharmacy staff and under the general direction of the Clinical Informatics Manager. Requirements Include: ~B. S. in Pharmacy or Pharm. D ~3-5 years experience in an ambulatory and/or inpatient setting working with providers, nurses, and other clinical health personnel ~Project leadership experience ~Performance improvement experience ~Electronic Health Record (EHR) utilization ~Wisconsin licensure as a pharmacist (minimum CE credits) or eligibility for licensure Preferred Qualifications Include: ~Advanced degree in medical informatics, computer science, or clinical discipline such as Nursing, Medical Technology, Pharmacy, etc. ~Epic experience and/or certification(s) ~Residency- Pharmacy informatics ~Experience implementing and maintaining software applications in a healthcare or business setting ~Experience with Smart Pumps and integration to Electronic health care systems ~Experience with Automatic Dispensing systems and packaging systems ~Certification or course work in project management ~ANA certification in Informatics EEO/M/F/D/V Meriter Healthcare Madison WI
