Position: Clinical Research Specialist

Location: Rocky Mount, NC - Nash Hospital

Hours: 20/week

  • Maintaining an environment of safety for patients, self and others

  • Reviewing research protocols to determine availability of resources, subjects and equipment needs

  • Educating patients and families about clinical trials, potential benefits and goals of clinical research

  • Communicating to physicians and other staff concerning protocols that are open to enrollment

  • Obtaining written informed consent with appropriate HIPAA authorization from each patient prior to study enrollment

  • Conducting studies as outlined by protocols

  • Following established guidelines in the collection of data and ensuring regulatory compliance for each study by following IRB policies and procedures, study requirements, federal regulations and etc.

  • Participating in sponsor audits and/or regulatory inspections of records and documents (e.g. FDA, CLGB/NSABP)

  • Recognizing, supporting and utilizing evidence-based nursing practices

  • Bachelor's Degree in a clinical / health related field

  • Two (2) years of clinical research experience and / or clinical trial experience / knowledge

VIEW JOBS 10/7/2020 12:00:00 AM 2021-01-05T00:00 US20639 Job Description Details Vendor Compliance Coordinator To partner with the vendor base, merchandising and the fulfillment center both pre and post-delivery to educate on QVC's compliance standards to improve vendor performance. Drive continuous improvements within the supply chain relating to compliance and vendor performance referencing at best practice both internally & externally to improve the experience for vendors, merchandising & operations. Vendor Compliance Coordinator ( Operations, Accounts, Merchandising & Supply Chain ) * Ensure the vendor compliance specialist reviews daily vendor delivery performance, ensuring all issues of non-compliance prior to and at the point of receipt are addressed. * Implement processes and controls for correction of all 'received' non-compliant products through the vendor compliance specialist for both on site and off site facilities. Monitor costs incurred and ensure chargebacks happen in line with policy advising Merchandising and vendors throughout the process. * Provide a central point of contact for escalated queries for the vendor base, Merchandising and Accounts where all enquiries regarding compliance can be resolved. * Responsible for ensuring adherence and alignment of the Vendor Compliance Policy actively working to support global alignment. * Produce and maintain Vendor guides, webinars, vendor days/visits, videos to aid them in their ability to achieve compliant product. * Partner with Qurate teams globally to ensure shared Best Practice is being shared and implemented. * Deliver internal training of Merchandising and Planning teams to aid them in gaining an understanding of the Supply Chain/operational needs and requirements. * Develop a smooth process for Vendor on-boarding, this includes Operational days for new and existing Vendors with regards to compliance in collaboration with internal stake holders. E.g. accounts * To continually review and assess KPI's for Vendor Compliance. To provide the EU Snr Ops Vendor Compliance coordinator with timely and accurate data to challenge/support Vendor and Merchandising functions. * To target all poorly performing vendors identified as repeat offenders and take remedial steps to resolve problems. * To supply external fulfilment options to the business. * Co-ordination and Management of the 3PL companies for all QVC managed reworks. * Accountable for Vendor Charge backs to ensure that all required administration and Vendor Compliance charges are managed and processed in a timely manner. Leadership & Development * To assign daily operational tasks to direct reports. * To create an environment where staff innovation/involvement is encourage in line with our corporate values. * To recruit, develop and motivate current and future staff in order to develop individual potential and meet Qurate requirements. * To ensure that all team members have a clear understanding of what is expected of them, the processes and procedures involved, and how their role fits into the team's objectives and Qurate business goals, vision and values to allow them to deliver an effective customer service. * To drive accountability of quality across all teams to achieve Qurate quality standards. * Proactively collaborate with others to share best practice within the Global Vendor Compliance team * To effectively communicate to all team members business related information necessary to enable them to fulfil their duties and responsibilities. Critical Skills/Knowledge * Of graduate caliber with experience of the necessary components of Supply Chain Management or three years' experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a Distribution / Operations role.
