Overview

Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Clinical Research LVN manages all aspects of research protocols and clinical trials.

Monitor study patients and provide appropriate nursing services; review and evaluate health status, lab findings and reactions; oversee accurate records, maintain and implement research protocols, develop policies and procedures and submission of trials to the IRB. Employee will follow applicable policies and procedures in handling supplies, pharmaceuticals, and equipment.

Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: 1+ year pediatric nursing experience. Organizational skills.

Clinical Research experience preferred. Bilingual in Spanish and Engliish high preferred. Research experience preferred.

Education/Licensure/Certifications: Completed licensed vocational nurse program.

Current license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state of California. Current AHA CPR card. IV certificate from the California state board and Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Pay Scale Information

$46,800.00-$80,850.00

The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
