Clinical Research Coordinator I, 2355136
Roles & Responsibilities:
TheClinical Research Coordinator assists in the daily activities of clinicalresearch studies, obtains informed consent; collects, maintains and organizesstudy information. Assists in preparing grant applications and documents (fore.g., Institutional Review Board, Grants and Contracts Office).
Collectsand records study data. Inputs all information into database
Obtainsinformed consent under minimal supervision of the investigator(s) and educatesparticipants regarding study requirements
Assistsin the activities related to clinical research studies including but notlimited to: answering phone calls, screening participants for eligibility,registering subjects with sponsoring agency, administering lifestylequestionnaires
Assistsin preparing grant applications, IRB/GCO for submission and filings
Maintainssource documents and subject files in accordance with hospital procedures.Ensures accurate and complete compilation of subject data through chart reviews
Secures,delivers and ships clinical specimens as required by the protocol
Preparesfor monitoring visits
Performsother related duties
Education:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science or closely related field
Experience:1-2years prior research experience
Excellentwritten and oral communication skills
Exceptionalattention to detail and accuracy
