KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the lead contact for assigned studies for collaborating physicians and staff, JAX Institutional Review Board, research staff and study participants.

  • Maintain required regulatory documents/binders for assigned protocols, both internal and external, per SOPs. Request and retain IRB approval letters and informed consent forms from external collaborators for JAX IRB submission and for external compliance oversight groups.

  • Prepare IRB submissions using the IRBManager eIRB submissions system and assist investigators in successfully navigating the system. Provide support to the IRB Administrator in educating investigators on use of IRBManager at JAX.

  • Complete case report forms and maintain research records and source documentation per GCP guidelines.

  • Accurately enter data into research databases, development and maintenance and CRF development and data entry in RedCap.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

  • 1 year experience conducting research involving human participants, or in an administrative role supporting human subjects research

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills including attention to detail

  • Ability to travel up to two times per year to JAX Bar Harbor facility to coordinate on-site clinical research for Bar Harbor investigators.

  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. Ability to learn new electronic systems.

Education Required: Bachelor's Degree

Education Preferred: Bachelor's Degree

Experience Required: 2 years

Experience Preferred: 2 years

Pay Range: $42,292.56 - $72,697.76
