Responsibilities

  • Collaboration with member health systems, hospice partners and key community referral sources

  • Supervision of one or more Home Health branch locations

  • Ensures consistent administration of, and staff compliance with, all Company and departmental policies and procedures

  • Assists in the achievement of Company goals and objectives by encouraging and facilitating cross-departmental initiatives and cooperation

  • Ensures departmental completion and compliance with Company Quality Improvement initiatives and objectives

  • Continuously reviews current regulatory and accreditation standards and implements appropriate programs for compliance

  • Actively participates in the company's information system development and serves as system contact for operational issues.

  • Recognizes strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, etc., and makes appropriate recommendations to prepare and react

  • Develops and implements a comprehensive plan to help staff continue future development and to constantly take advantage of opportunities

  • Provides leadership and direction to sales leadership and staff to promote Adoration Health to member health systems and community referral sources

  • Local point of contact for hospital systems, preferred providers and all contracts within the region

  • Facilitates quarterly meetings providing data and summary of business

  • Identifies and develops high level relationships with decision makers at high potential referral sources

  • Maintains COGs at or below budget

  • Oversees timely and efficient execution of all operations and clinical staff

  • Addresses service concerns, identifies trends and reacts accordingly

  • Maintains Overall Direct Expenses at or below budget

  • Creates a team environment that allows Adoration Health to say "yes" to referrals, processes referrals timely, efficiently, and accurately in order to grow our business as evidenced by achieving established customer service/patient satisfaction goals

  • Continuously reviews trends in referral satisfaction and complaints, determines root cause analysis, and implements appropriate communication/measures for improvements

  • Works with others to ensure initial and ongoing training (including on the job training) occurs regularly with return demonstration and accountability as evidenced by achieving operational and regulatory audit goals

Management / Supervision:

  • Responsible for selection and hiring of qualified staff, ensuring an effective on-boarding and providing comprehensive training and regular feedback

  • Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards

  • Establishes annual goals and objectives for the department based on the organizations strategic goals

  • Responsible for achieving organizational performance and retention goals, including timely completion of performance evaluations

Qualifications

  • Four-year college degree required, preferably with a healthcare or business focus

  • Minimum of five (5) years in leadership and business development required
