Responsible for full cycle recruiting for specified service areas that ensures the selection of high quality talent and an efficient, cost effective recruiting process. Works closely with Recruiters and other HR colleagues to assist with consultation on workforce needs, labor market conditions, recruiting strategies, timelines and candidate selection.
Partners with the business to develop and implement proactive sourcing strategies to find top quality candidates. Identifies and recommends candidates that have a high probability of success and future high performance. Promotes Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Washington's mission, brand and strategies, and translates jobs into career opportunities to attract and bring top talent into the organization.
Hiring Manager Partnership:
Builds strong relationships with hiring managers and their teams; develops business acumen and in depth understanding of assigned recruitment areas; works with hiring managers to address current open positions and future needs to support business strategies; gathers requirements to understand and identify the best new talent for the business area; communicates work plans and sourcing/recruiting strategies and gains buy in on recruiting strategies. Sets/manages hiring managers expectations through thorough intake meetings and ongoing communication.
Assess & Convert Talent:
Qualifies and screens potential talent and discerns fit for job and organization; utilizes competency-based approach to assess for future success; builds relationships with candidates; uses subject matter expertise and business acumen to sell the organization and highlight career opportunities. Works closely with Sr. Recruiters and other HR colleagues to develop skills as needed.
Provides recommendation to hiring manger on candidates to move forward for further consideration and interviewing; coordinates, manages and participates in the interview process; advises on the final selection and negotiates offer.
Collaborates with Sourcing Specialist on critical positions to create a comprehensive proactive sourcing strategy and plan that includes sources and efforts appropriate to the position; utilizes sourcing technology and tools, leverages internal and external networks, and builds campaigns to find and identify potential talent.
POSITION WILL NEED TO BE BASED IN WA STATE AND WORK REMOTE WITH EXCEPTION OF INITIAL TRAINING PERIOD AND REGULAR TEAM AND BUSINESS MEETINGS.
Minimum two (2) years of experience with recruiting or recruiting support in a health care or staffing agency environment.
Bachelor's degree OR four (4) years of experience in directly related field.
High School Diploma OR General Education Development (GED) required.
License, Certification, Registration
Able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Self-motivated and able to problem solve in a complex environment with little direction.
Effective client relationship skills.
Computer skills in a Windows environment and ability to learn new software quickly.
Two (2) years of recruiting experience in a health care or health insurance setting.
Experience with computerized Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, health care administration, psychology or related field.
Previous healthcare experience in a union and compliance driven environment (OFCCP).
Experience in using Taleo and Peoplesoft.
