Clinical Quality Data Coordinator

Full-time, M-F 8:00am-4:30pm

Job Description:

• The Clinical Data Coordinator is responsible for abstracting Core Measures and other applicable data, compiling data and preparing necessary graphs/ reports to include analysis of clinical outcomes for all work produced.

• Analysis includes maintaining accuracy of data abstracted and reviewing data outliers to determine improvement opportunities or statistical significance based on clinical and disease processes.

• The Clinical Data Coordinator assists the Director of Quality Management.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in nursing required, or higher.

• Current unrestricted KY RN license required.

• Minimum of 5 years clinical experience in an acute care setting is required.

• Knowledge of evidenced-based medicine applicable to any given disease or condition for all patient populations required.

• Knowledge of and at least one-year experience in any of the following: QA/QI, health information management or statistical process control required.

• Experience in data collection, analysis, and statistical process control required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.

• Proficiency in Access, Excel, or database management preferred

• Certification in healthcare quality (e.g., Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality - CPHQ) preferred.
