We are looking for a Clinical Quality Analyst (CQA) at our Silver Spring Support Center to be responsible for the assurance of adherence to licensing and regulatory standards and the monitoring of quality for all clinical services within the agency. The CQA is responsible for projects that support the agency's mission and is expected to navigate, summarize and provide high level recommendations that consider the technical and policy-related details of value-based care initiatives. The CQA is responsible for recommending, implementing and monitoring clinical performance improvement activities and serving as a resource in facilitating the collection, analysis, and monitoring of site/departmental data in process improvement projects.
Monitor compliance with all local, state, federal, and accreditation standards.
Monitor and maintain guidelines for care access and utilization standards.
Ensure that all performance improvement activities are managed and performed according to regulatory and accreditation standards, corporate policies, and related measures.
Act as a resource for all quality improvement processes.
Report quality improvement initiatives and data to specific departments as needed.
Coordinate and conduct quality improvement studies and audits.
Perform utilization review, data analysis, and assess opportunities for improvements.
BA or BS in Health Information, Administration or Nursing. Master's degree and/or Lean/Six Sigma preferred.
Five years experience in healthcare quality improvement, delivering team success via data-driven metrics and reporting.
An understanding of Healthcare IT and defining opportunities to improve healthcare as evidenced by working with large datasets
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
