Pediatric Psychologist Position The Division of Developmental and Behavioral Sciences at Children#s Mercy Kansas City is recruiting a psychologist with expertise in pediatric psychology to work primarily with youth seen in our Rheumatology and Dermatology clinics. The psychologist will take referrals from other medical clinics as needed.

The primary focus of the position will be clinical service delivery with opportunities for program development, research, community education presentations, and teaching/supervision in the hospital#s APA-accredited psychology internship, psychology and developmental-behavioral pediatrics fellowships, pediatric residency program, and psychology practicums.# The position carries an academic appointment at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) School of Medicine, with rank commensurate with qualifications and experience. Candidates must have completed a PhD or PsyD in clinical or counseling psychology, completed an APA-approved internship with an emphasis on children and teens, and be license-eligible as a psychologist in Missouri and Kansas. Candidates should have specialized training/experience in pediatric psychology settings.# The successful candidate will have strengths in assessment and empirically supported interventions.# Candidates at all levels of experience will be considered.

The position includes a competitive salary and benefits package.#The successful candidate will be joining a thriving staff of 52 child clinical and pediatric psychologists, who serve the needs of patients and families referred from within our hospital system as well as from the community.
