Provides psychological evaluation and psychotherapeutic services to medical patients and when appropriate significant others. Consults with physicians and nurses and makes recommendations for appropriate services.

Functions as a clinical resource to members of multidisciplinary treatment teams. May provide recommendations for program development around issues of health psychology. May supervise doctoral and post-doctoral trainees in psychology. Patients may include adolescents, adult, and geriatric populations.

REQUIRED:

1.Doctoral degree with primary study in Clinical Psychology.

2.Licensed as a psychologist

3.Completion of one (1) year supervised clinical internship.

4.Must be CPR certified.

PREFERRED:

1.Experience working with Chronic Mental Illnesses.

2.One (1) year experience in a medical setting evaluating and treating patients for psychological factors associated with medical problems.
