About the role: Calian is proud to continue a long-standing contractual relationship with the Department of National Defence (DND) to provide healthcare services to the Canadian Armed Forces.

Through the Health Care Provider Contract, Calian employs health care professionals across Canada who are integral to supporting the health and wellbeing of our military members. The mental health team at CFB Trenton are seeking Clinical Psychologists to join the team and provides psychological assessment services and treatment services to serving members of the Canadian Armed Forces dealing with stress arising from military operations.   • No Overhead or Administrative Costs Your Key Duties Include: Providing psycho-diagnostic assessments with an adult population including differential diagnosis Providing professional services related to the diagnosis, assessment, evaluation, treatment and prevent of psychological, emotional psycho-physiological, and behaviour disorders with an adult population Administering appropriate diagnostic tests for psychometric assessment, interpret the results, and prepare psychological evaluations Reporting results and interpretations of tests, interviews, and evaluations to the multi-disciplinary team Providing treatment of a variety of mental health conditions for Canadian Armed Forces members using evidence-based practice including the use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and trauma processing therapies along with other modalities of therapy Participating as a member of the multi-disciplinary mental health team in case reviews Leading and participating in the development, instruction, and counselling during sessions for specific mental illness such as anxiety, PTSD, depression and stress management Assisting in the identification, development, and evolution of mental health programming Creating and maintaining patient records in a timely manner The qualifications: 1.

    Degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited university 2. Registered as a Psychologist and authorized for autonomous practice with the appropriate provincial licensing body 3. 2 years of post-graduate experience, under a license for autonomous, within the last 5 years completing psycho-diagnostic assessments, including differential diagnosis, and providing treatment services to adults with PTSD, anxiety, mood disorders, and other various mental health illnesses Type of Assignment: - Full Time or Part Time

  • Clinic operating hours Monday through Friday

In this RN Care Coordinator role, you will be an essential element of an Integrated Care Model by relaying the pertinent information about the member needs and advocating for the best possible care available, and ensuring they have the right services to meet their needs. Primary Responsibilities: * Assess, plan and implement care strategies that are individualized by patient and directed toward the most appropriate, lease restrictive level of care * Identify and initiate referrals for social service programs; including financial, psychosocial, community and state supportive services * Manage the care plan throughout the continuum of care as a single point of contact * Communicate with all stakeholders the required health-related information to ensure quality coordinated care and services are provided expeditiously to all members * Advocate for patients and families as needed to ensure the patient's needs and choices are fully represented and supported by the health care team Required Qualifications: * Current, unrestricted RN license for the state of New Jersey * Associate's degree or higher * 4 years of experience working within the community health setting in a health care role * Experience in long-term care, home health, hospice, public health or assisted living * Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook * The ability to travel in assigned region to visit Medicaid members in their homes and/or other settings, including community centers, hospitals or providers' offices Preferred Qualifications : * Behavioral health or clinical degree - STRONGLY preferred * A background in managing populations with complex medical or behavioral needs * Experience with electronic charting * Experience with arranging community resources * Prior field based work experience Careers at UnitedHealthcare Community & State.
