The mission of the Optometry Internal Operations Team is to strategize on efficiency improvements, analyze and collaborate for project delivery and implement new processes and initiatives to help cross-functional areas achieve set priorities for the business.

The Clinical Programs Manager will:

Project Management:

● Work independently and be accountable for ensuring program objectives are met through oversite of project implementation activities on a day-to-day basis.

● Develop project strategy plans based on logical framework approaches. Participates in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools related to program and project delivery standards.

● Maintain project timeframes, objectives and communications. Demonstrates a functional acumen to support how solutions will address stakeholder needs while aligning to best practices; demonstrates expertise in scope planning and management.

● Manage a program of complex, interdependent initiatives that span one or more cross-functional teams that includes both internal and external resources

● Create and manage documentation and reports for projects. Prepares estimates and detailed project plans for all phases of a program or project; manages the day-to-day project activities and resources.

● Identify the goals and requirements of each project. Manages all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives.

● Track, forecast and report on project progress including metrics and challenges. Accountable for full program and project life cycle ownership; successful delivery will include full system implementation from initiation to deployment for one major program initiative or several minor initiatives simultaneously.

● Develop and deliver scope overviews, status reports, project proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to various audiences including project teams, sponsors, senior leadership and key stakeholders.

● Identifies and informs continuous improvement opportunities to drive best practices and increase organizational efficiency and effectiveness.

● Develop and deploy needed communication to stakeholder groups as needed.

Data Analytics:

● Document and manage KPI definitions

● Build automated enterprise KPI dashboards and support data & metrics delivery to executive leadership

● Monitor key datasets and provide appropriate recommendations for action and changes

● Collaborate with the business to determine and document data and reporting requirements

● Create and produce forecasts, reports, ad hoc requests, dashboards, etc.

● Interpret data, analyze results, and provide insights to determine operational impact, trends, and opportunities

● Ensure compliance with deliverable reporting requirements by performing data quality audits and analysis

Required Qualifications:

● Bachelor's Degree in business management, business communication, project management, or similar required.

● 2+ years of hands-on-experience in building and developing Business Intelligence solutions using Power BI or 3-5 years of experience within a supportive or consulting PMO environment.

● Experience in a rapidly changing environment and ability to adapt to change while still maintaining a structured approach to program and project implementation.

● Strong communication skills, including the ability to present complex ideas and concepts

● Excellent documentation and writing skills.

● Experience creating business process, business requirements and specification level detail documentation.

● Experience using Microsoft Suite based collaboration tools

● Strong hands on experience in modern analytical tools such as Power BI

● Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SmartSheet

● Ability to analyze and interpret data

● Ability to quickly identify business problems/opportunities

● Ability to document, prepare and present data-driven presentations

● Experience with large databases, conducting complex analysis

● Advanced level logical and analytical skills

● Ability to explain complex analysis results in an easy-to-understand language

● Demonstrated problem solving

● Demonstrated ability to think and work with a proactive mindset

● A self-motivated personality with a passion for working in a fast-paced environment

● Ability to work in a collaborative and partnership manner with other team members and business stakeholders

  • Limited Travel required

Desired Qualifications:

● Experience in a healthcare environment with patient care and compliance knowledge.

● Experience in project management and data analytics
