The Community Behavioral Health Hospital (CBHH) in Alexandria is seeking a passionate individual to join our team team as a Behavior Analyst Program Assistant. The Behavior Analyst Program Assistnat will assist unit staff of varying levels of expertise in implementing and sustaining Evidence Based Practices, including, but not limited to:
Person Centeredness, Integrated Dual Disorders Treatment (IDDT), and Illness Management and Recovery (IM&R) on an inpatient basis to patients with serious and persistent mental illness. Additionally, the Behavior Analyst will work with the treatment team provide quality person-centered care to patients as specified on individualized treatment plans, maintain a safe environment and provide active treatment and behavioral and social support to patients under the supervision of a Mental Health Professional.
The Community Behavioral Health Hospital (CBHH) is a 16-bed inpatient psychiatric facility for adults experiencing a serious mental health disorders. The length of stay is usually less than 60 days, during which treatment focuses on stabilization, patient education, and discharge planning involving community support resources, with the overall goal of preventing future episodes.
To qualify, applicants must:
Previous experience working with individuals with mental illness or behavioral health conditions.
Knowledge of behavior modification principles sufficient to participate in the planning and designing of individual treatment programs for assigned clients.
Knowledge of training methods sufficient to ensure program delivery staff learn and understand the purpose and methods of implementing individual program plans.
Ability to translate behavior observations into quantifiable data and communicate effectively in writing sufficient to ensure treatment documentation is accurate and provides the treatment team with a common understanding of treatment goals and progress.
