Clinical Program Manager - Adolescent Residential
Full Time Day Shift M-F flexible based on program needs with some on-call
Job Summary : Responsible for daily operations of the Linden Residential Treatment Center for Adolescents, including, but not limited to personnel, clinical supervision and programming. Works in accordance with established philosophy, objectives and policies of the hospital to ensure safe, efficient and therapeutic patient care. Collaborates with professionals across the Brattleboro Retreat's continuum of child and adolescent care and relates effectively with other Retreat departments.
Master's Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited graduate school, Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, or Registered Nurse with related psychiatric experience.
Vermont LICSW, LMHC, or Licensed Psychologist.
7+ years of experience in inpatient, residential, partial hospital, or milieu care setting with focus on treatment and case management of children/adolescents with mental health diagnoses.
3-5+ years of demonstrated leadership and/or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
Must enjoy working with adolescents with a broad range of mental health diagnoses and related symptoms/behaviors.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
1.Demonstrated high level of management skill and leadership ability.
2.Demonstrated knowledge of childhood psychiatric disorders.
3.Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills and crisis intervention skills to relate effectively with residents, co-workers, and all members of the treatment team
Ability to communicate effectively with program staff, residents and ancillary personnel.
Must possess ability and skills to effectively assess and respond to situations requiring psychiatric and/or medical intervention.
Ability to function independently and exercise independent judgment appropriately.
