North Spring Behavioral Healthcare, Inc. is an 87-bed Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility for children 9 to 17 and 15-bed Acute Psychiatric Hospital for children 7 to 17. In addition we offer a Partial Hospitalization Program and Intensive Outpatient Services for children and adolescents. All services are licensed by the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services and Joint Commission accredited. We additionally have capacity expansions planned for completion over the next 12 months due to the high demand for our services. Our strategic plan has been centered on improving fidelity to our evidence-based clinical methodology.

We are currently recruiting for a Clinical Program Director to join our senior management team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participates actively, productively and collaboratively on our multi-disciplinary, management team.

  • Attend and positively impact the daily operation meetings and other critical committees such as quality council.

  • Leads and assures high quality, evidence-based practice is implemented in the clinical milieu, formal therapy as well as with ancillary clinical services.

  • Provides weekly Clinical Supervision for Therapists.

  • Direction and Supervision of clinical services for residents to include psychological evaluations, individual, family and group therapy scheduling and facilitation of treatment team reviews and documentation.

Compensation package:

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Master's Degree in human services field (i.e. psychology, social work, counseling, education).A doctorate degree in counseling, education or psychology is preferred.

  • Must be currently licensed in the state of Virginia (LPC, LCSW, LMFT or a Licensed Psychologist)

  • At least three years of recent experience in leadership and clinical work with children/adolescents with 5 years of experience preferred.Five years experience in an inpatient psychiatric service setting is strongly preferred.
