Clinical Primary Therapist

This full-time, direct-hire position offers a competitive hourly rate of $30 to $35, reflecting your experience and qualifications. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to address mental health concerns.
• Perform comprehensive assessments to create a clinical formulation that will serve as the basis for treatment planning.
• Collaborate with clients and their families to establish treatment goals and interventions.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the client's medical record.
• Coordinate care with clinic colleagues and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency department mental health crisis evaluations.
• Uphold the principles of a healing environment by ensuring safety, dignity, respect, well-being, and fostering healthy relationships.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Required: Master's degree in Mental Health, Social Work, Nursing, Art Therapy, or Psychology.
• Preferred: PhD in a related field.

License/Certification:

• Required: New York State Mental Health Counselor License, Social Work License, Nurse's License, or Creative Arts Therapy License; valid NYS Driver's License.
• Required Certifications: BLS through the RQI system (provided during clinical orientation) and CPI certification within 90 days of hire.

Experience:

• Minimum: 1 year in a mental health or hospital setting.
• Preferred: 3 years in a mental health setting.
