Provides advanced knowledge and clinical practice experience to support the mission and vision of CHI Health. Demonstrates advanced skills in leadership, collaboration, multidisciplinary teamwork, project management, quality improvement, education, and research. Acts as change agent to lead strategic change throughout nursing and clinical practice within the division.

Responsibilities

  • Uses advanced knowledge, clinical practice experience, research, critical thinking, and transformational leadership skills to facilitate a multidisciplinary approach to promote excellence and quality clinical care and outcomes.

  • Serves as a consultant to healthcare professionals and consumers, within the healthcare system and in the community.

  • Collaborates with and/or participates in division-wide clinical councils and committees and with peer to identify and facilitate educational and clinical needs of the healthcare team. Leads and participates in achieving nursing and clinical division and organization goals.

  • Initiates and participates in new programs and innovations, including performance and quality improvement activities. Acts as change agent to lead and assist in strategy and innovation within nursing and clinical practice.

  • Evaluates, communicates, and utilizes current evidence in practice, education, and consultation.

  • Uses a process of needs assessment, education planning and design, program implementation and evaluation to develop comprehensive clinical education and staff development. Develops and demonstrates measurable program outcomes.

  • Others duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bacculaureate degree in Nursing.

Masters or Doctorate degree in Nursing, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field or actively enrolled in graduate level program within 18 months of hire.

Must hold a valid RN compact multistate license to practice in Nebraska or Iowa depending on work state.

BLS or BLS instructor required upon hire refer to policy "Licensed, Certified, and Registered Employees" for acceptable life support cards.
