Job Summary
The University of Kentucky College of Nursing is seeking a Clinical Placement Coordinator for our DNP and MSN Program. This position will be responsible for developing new clinical sites and maintaining communication with current sites, and managing all documentation related to these clinical sites, managing the credentialing processes, and maintaining databases to support the placement and credentialing of students and faculty in clinical and practicum settings.
This role involves extensive collaboration with program leadership, faculty, clinical instructors, students, and healthcare organizations to ensure rich experiential learning opportunities that meet student-learning outcomes. Candidate should be well organized, have great attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment. Problem solving and critical thinking skills are required.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, communication, and Microsoft Office Suite skills. Knowledge of or experience working in the healthcare field is highly preferred. Self-motivated with the demonstrated ability to complete tasks efficiently and independently.
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No Preferred Education/Experience
Bachelors Degree with three years of successful demonstration of business development and/or relationship management experience, preferably in healthcare arena.
