Clinical Pharmacy Specialist

The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist assists the pharmacy management team in the provision of clinical pharmacy services within a specialty area (e.g. critical care, oncology, medicine, surgery).

Required qualifications:

• PharmD Pharmacy or

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy.

• upon hire: California Pharmacist Registered.

• within 2 years of hire National Certification from Board of Pharmacy Specialties When eligible and where applicable, obtain a Board of Pharmacy Preceptor license. Basic Life Support-Provider (BLS) where applicable. ACLS/PALS/NRP where applicable

• 2 years PGY2 residency training - or - PGY1 residency training and 2 years of experience within relevant practice setting - or - a minimum of 4 years of experience in specialty practice setting
