Under the direction of the Sr. Director, Drug Intelligence, this individual will assist to create and maintain Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) documents, databases, metrics, as well as create and maintain Drug Intelligence (DI) team related documents and metrics. This position is will support development and maintenance of DI and P&T related policies and procedures, as well as support P&T meeting planning. This position will also provide sales support activity related to DI and P&T.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage the development, distribution and communication of monthly P&T meeting voting documents, as well as the development and distribution of monthly P&T agenda summaries

  • Manage P&T drug list development and distribution for use in Formulary Management Committee meetings and Business Implementation Committee meetings, as well as development of presentation material

  • Manage monthly updates to the P&T decision grid as well as monthly reporting needs; monitor need for enhancements and work with clinical IT partners for any database upgrades

  • Manage all DI and P&T related SharePoint sites and policy and procedure documents, including ensuring regular review and updates as needed, posting to appropriate document control sites and ensuring timely P&T review as needed

  • Manage DI and P&T related metrics for presentation at quality meetings, in support of SLAs and for regular review at clinical leadership meetings

  • Assist in managing DI team resources including but not limited to assignments, subject matter expertise, distribution lists, on-boarding of new team members

  • Develop quarterly utilization pivot tables for use in P&T presentation

  • Collaborate in the development, collection and compilation of P&T materials for monthly and quarterly meetings, including executive summaries and presentations

  • Assist in all P&T meeting planning efforts as needed to ensure successful meeting execution

  • Assist in training efforts to educate all key stakeholder areas regarding DI and P&T related resources

  • Highly organized, excellent at written and oral communications, and work well with others as they provide management, oversight and motivation to team members

  • Developing, maintaining and analyzing detailed projects in different formats for multiple areas

  • Understanding of pharmacy and pharmacy benefit management industry

  • Ensuring all project deliverables are in compliance with applicable standards (i.e., data security, NCQA, URAC, CMS, other federal/state regulatory requirements)

  • Demonstrated experience working with all levels of cross-functional teams (executives, managers, analysts)

Required Qualifications:

  • 3 years project management and analytical background

  • Managed care pharmacy experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Access, Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in health information or services, business administration with a focus in healthcare or pharmacy, or other relevant project management based

  • Experience with Medispan GPI classification system

  • Six sigma trained/certified in project management

  • SQL experience

  • Pharmacy knowledge, experience or background

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
