Clinical Pharmacist Nights - 7 On 7 Off

General Summary of Position

We are currently recruiting for a Clinical Pharmacist Nights to join our team at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC. This is a 7 on 7 off position with rotating weekends.

Provides pharmaceutical care to assigned patients under the supervision of a more senior clinical pharmacist/manager. Evaluates and interprets physician orders and dispenses medication and other pharmaceutical supplies in accordance with established operational procedures, professional standards or practice as well as state and district and Federal laws.

Minimum Qualifications

• Doctoral degree or equivalent Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of Pharmacy required

• 1-2 years of direct patient care experience in a hospital setting required

• Completion of PGY-1 pharmacy residency preferred

• Verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills preferred.

• Licensed Pharmacist in the District of Columbia required

• Board certification Preferred

This position has a hiring range of $131,788 - $211,619
