Clinical Pharmacist Lead

The Clinical Pharmacist Lead will be part of an interactive team with broad exposure and scope within Humana. Humana is seeking a positive and proactive individual to contribute to a high performing team whose mission is to empower our members to achieve their best health through optimizing medication use. The Clinical Pharmacist Lead will primarily be responsible for the development of innovative clinical programs that improve member health outcomes and ultimately reduce the total cost of care as well as will continue to grow and optimize current clinical programs impacting medical spend, while increasing value.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD or RPh) from an accredited School of Pharmacy

• Active, unrestricted pharmacy licensure

Preferred Qualifications:

• Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP)

• Previous experience in health outcomes research

• Strong delegation and decision-making skills

• Previous experience in clinical program trend

• Three years' experience in pharmacy benefits management

• Understands managed care and is capable of generating insights into the business

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$123,800 - $170,400 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
