Our corporate office is searching for a Clinical Pharmacist to join our team!

Position Summary:
Supports the Director of Pharmacy Operations with the development, implementation, and maintenance of clinical pharmacy programs including but not limited to: Intervention reporting, Pharmacovigilance, Pharmacoinformatics, Pharmacoeconomics. The Clinical Pharmacist will organize appropriate clinical initiatives and provide clinical education and teaching for patients, clinicians, Nursing, and pharmacy staff at all levels of practice. Facilitate development and implementation of treatment guidelines and protocols. Assist with quality and patient safety initiatives for the organization. The Clinical Pharmacist will also have a working knowledge of the operational aspects of the clinic pharmacies and will contribute to the overall objectives of Pharmacy Operations department

Position Requirements:

  • Education: College Degree in Pharmacy, PharmD Preferred.

  • Previous Experience: Minimum of two years' experience as a clinical pharmacist within the oncology field, working in a Hospital, Home Health, Community Oncology, or other Infusion Center.

  • Interpersonal Effectiveness: Developed interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, diplomacy, tact, conflict management, delegation skills, and diversity awareness. Ability to work effectively with sensitive and confidential material and sometimes emotionally charged matters.

  • Communication Skills:
    Effective communication skills (oral, written, presentation), is an active listener, and effectively provides balanced feedback.

  • Customer Service & Organizational Awareness: Strong customer focus. Ability to build an engaging culture of quality, performance effectiveness and operational excellence through best practices, strong business and political acumen, collaboration and partnerships, as well as a positive employee, physician and community relations.
