HealthPRO Pediatrics seeks a Lead Physical Therapist (PT) in North County
Outpatient - Clinic base setting in Rancho Bernardo, CA
The physical therapist will provide services for the pediatric population age 0-21 with developmental, neurological, and medical based disorders in an outpatient clinic setting. This position performs highlyresponsible work that will promote quality patient care and efficiency. The physical therapist will also collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team including physicians, psychologists, therapists, BCBAs, school staff, and parents to provide holistic services. The physical therapist is responsible for planning and administering evaluations, treatment plans, consults, screenings, parent education and for promoting the overall health of the patient. In addition, this position requires flexibility with scheduled hours as the company continues to thrive and grow.

Salary starting at $83,200 to $95,680, depending on experience

Responsibilities
Provides skilled physical therapy treatment plans in accordance with physician orders and by
assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results of patients.
Adheres to state requirements for supervision of PTAs to provide services with the highest care
standards
Assures continuation of therapeutic plan following discharge by designing home exercise
programs; instructing patients, recommending and/or providing assisting equipment;
recommending follow-up programs.
Promptly and thoroughly documents and maintains clinical and administrative records regarding
patient limitations/interventions, treatments, responses and progress to administered therapy
as well as discharge summaries.
Maintains patient records confidentially.
Records treatment charges daily and completes documentation in accurate and timely manner.
Complies with the applicable State Physical Therapy Practice Act, codes and regulations.
Must be able to recognize and respond appropriately to urgent/emergent situations per
Maintains clean work area, clean treatment rooms and requests needed supplies.
Maintains professional appearance and personal conduct at all times.
Complies with all company policies and procedures.
Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with co-workers and other
professionals as it relates to collaboration of care for the patient.
Keeps regular clinic hours as approved by Manager
Directs all patient scheduling matters through the front desk coordinator.
Attends meetings as requested.
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy. (or Master's Degree with)
Must hold a current license to practice in the state of practice
Assumes responsibility for ongoing continuing education and professional development
