REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, healthcare or a related field
PREFERRED: Masters of Science in Nursing
A minimum of two years' experience in clinical program development is required
Experience in physician referral development or product and services sales to physicians strongly preferred.
Familiarity with Heart Failure care required
Knowledge of the principles and practices in regional and network development, planning and implementation of clinical programs preferred
Proven written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated analytical abilities
The ability to interact effectively and respectfully with internal and external customers. Must have the ability to demonstrate sound judgment and to problem solve.
Ability to identify business opportunities and direct programs based upon research findings.
Exceptional ability to communicate and work with a variety of professionals including physicians, physician chairs, researchers, managers, administrators and external publics
Strong time management skills required
The Clinical Outreach Specialist reports directly to the Cardiovascular Service Line Director and Medical Director of Heart Failure, Transplant & Mechanical Circulatory Support Program. Responsible for outreach, education and marketing of Heart Failure, Transplant and Mechanical Circulatory Support programs to regional external customers. This includes the planning and execution of a wide variety of initiatives and tactics to promote these specific clinical programs to external clinicians and hospitals located throughout the region (in-state and out of state).
