iRhythm is currently seeking an experienced Clinical Operations Trainer in our Houston office. Our work environment is fast-paced, with a collaborative atmosphere. Specific job responsibilities include:
Using "best practices" in instructional design and delivery, develop all materials and implement programs for the ongoing delivery of training to the Patch team
Develop and implement a department-wide learning strategy, including the appropriate adoption and integration of e-learning solutions
Manage the newly hired Patch Trainees through the training period and facilitate their successful completion of all training modules in order that they achieve defined competency levels
Develop and implement the "Open Lab", and manage all related activities on an ongoing basis
Partner with Managers to create and deliver the appropriate curriculum to ensure Patch Tech competency and advancement within and between competency tiers
Develop and maintain a program of accredited training modules that meet CEU requirements for Patch staff
Coordinate training events
Assist in recruiting and hiring
Ability to demonstrate and receive feedback from internal team members on applications and operations of iRhythm's products and systems
Ability to be flexible in a dynamic environment with varying hours including some nights and weekends
Assist service/engineering team in determining if problems are clinical or technical in nature.
Phone and internet-based continuous training for remote based Zio Patch team members
Small group facilitation experience is preferred
Must have experience with in-depth arrhythmia interpretation skills
Excellent one-on-one and group presentation and communication skills
Ability to use a variety of learning/training concepts and principles, along with knowledge of adult learning
Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex clinical content in an easy to understand manner
Ability to administer formal training classes in the adult arena
Ability to travel a minimum of 10-20% of time
Demonstrated computer agility - candidate must be willing and able to work with computers including the following applications: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Windows.
