Hospital Overview:

Tewksbury Hospital operates a 370 bed Joint Commission accredited hospital. The hospital provides comprehensive treatment, care, and comfort to adults with medical and/or mental illness. Tewksbury Hospital offers a broad range of services including a physician on site at all times, around-the-clock nursing care, rehabilitation services including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, psychology services, social services, nutritional services, and an on-site dialysis clinic.

What You Will Do

  • Ensure safe, appropriate, cost effective drug therapies for patients according to established policies, procedures and protocols.

  • Interpret drug orders (verbal and written) and transcribe to computerized patient medication profiles accurately

  • Assist with pharmacokinetics consult service and drug dosing per hospital protocol

  • Maintain accurate, complete pharmacy patient medication profiles.

  • Complete all assigned medication storage area inspections in a timely manner.

  • Supervise and direct pharmacy support personnel as assigned by the Director of Pharmacy

  • Build and nurture relationships with physicians and nursing

What You Will Need


  • Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS Pharmacy degree or higher

  • Currently licensed to practice pharmacy in resident State or eligible to reciprocate

  • Two plus years hospital experience preferred

  • Completion of PGY-1 residency preferred

  • Courteous, professional service to patients, visitors and staff

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

The eWAN provides centralized delivery of advanced IT and security services to multiple classified program efforts across the enterprise. The eWAN transforms the delivery model of classified information processing and serves as a cutting-edge example for the rest of cleared industry. This critical position is empowered to shape a transformative business initiative for the organization. The eWAN Cyber Operations Specialist serves on a growing cross-business/cross-function team, collaborating with Information Technology (IT) and GSS partners to ensure operational compliance with approved security documentation and applicable regulations. This position serves as a eWAN Information System Security Officer (ISSO). eWAN ISSO responsibilities include records management, security operations, audits/investigations, incident response, system assessment, etc. eWAN ISSOs use advanced security tools to monitor real-time system activity and configuration data from all environment endpoints. This position provides security oversight and support from the Northeast Datacenter (NEDC), a critical eWAN resource at the Tewksbury, MA facility. This position combines job duties historically separated between ISSOs and Information System Security Managers (ISSMs); candidates for this position should have a comprehensive understanding of both job roles and an ability to balance competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment without appreciable direction. This position reports to the IDS ECC Cybersecurity Manager. This position can be filled as either a G08 or G09 depending on the direct experience of the candidate. This position requires an active DoD Secret Security Clearance on day one of employment. Required Skills: * This position requires a current DoD U.S. Secret Security Clearance. In rare circumstances the hiring manager may exempt this requirement and require a security clearance within 6 months of hire. * DoD 8570.1 IAM Level II certified: CISSP/CISM/GSLC or other applicable certification. If not currently certified, incumbent must receive certification within six months of hire. * Experience with various information system security tools that address vulnerability analysis and mitigation.
