Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a Clinical Nutrition Manager position at St. David's Round Rock Medical Center in Round Rock, TX. Located in Round Rock, Texas about 15 miles north of Austin in the Central Texas Hill Country. This role will serve in a leadership role on the Food and Nutrition Services team.

This 209-bed community hospital is part of St. David's Healthcare system - the first specialized cardiac facility in Williamson County, which offers heart and valve surgery and includes a catheterization and electrophysiology lab, as well as a Hybrid Operating Room (OR) for cardiovascular patients.

Other services include advanced trauma care with a Level II Trauma Center, emergency services in a 24-hour emergency department including a free-standing emergency center in Leander, as well as a dedicated unit for cancer care and inpatient rehabilitation. St. David's Round Rock Medical Center is also known for providing neurosurgery, advanced orthopedic and robotic services, among other complex specialties.

Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will:

• Provide oversight of the clinical department of 2.5-2.8 RD's and support direct patient care as needed on the inpatient units;
• drive Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects;
• provide training and education to department staff and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals;
• be the primary liaison with medical and nursing staff and represent the department on hospital wide committees.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire

Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
