  • Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Masters in Nursing (MN) is required

  • Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Washington.

  • Health Care Provider CPR Certification

  • Three to five years of previous work experience in specialty area

  • CNS preferred

  • Charge Nurse/Management or Educator experience preferred

The Surgery Center is internationally recognized for its innovative design and workflow. Visited by at least 3 different hospitals monthly; the Bellevue Surgery Center affords a manager the opportunity to showcase this wonderful facility and patient care on a regular basis. We just opened a 3rd OR suite 2015. Responsible to manage the clinical operations of the Bellevue Surgery Center, including pre, during and post procedure patient care activities, meeting continuous performance improvement, customer service, financial, and delivery requirements in support of Seattle Children's mission, vision and values. In conjunction with the Clinic Directors and Director, is responsible for the day-to-day clinical functions of the Bellevue Surgery Center. Requirements Required Education/Experience: - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. - Bachelor's degree in Nursing. A Master's degree in Nursing may be substituted provided the incumbent also possesses a Bachelor's degree in another field. - Minimum of two years of nursing experience. - Demonstrated leadership experience. - Demonstrated performance improvement experience. Required Credentials: - Current Washington State RN license. - National certification in a clinical specialty area must be obtained within three years of employment. - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification must be obtained within 3 months of employment. - A copy of Bachelor's degree in Nursing or transcripts indicating attainment of Bachelor's degree (or higher) in nursing is to be on record with Human Resources upon hire. Preferred: - Master's Degree in Nursing or business related field. - Experience in a pediatric ambulatory setting. - Recent experience in an ambulatory management and/or leadership role.
