Job Summary

The Mother Baby Care Unit Clinical Nurse Partner supports the functions of MBCU unit under the direct supervision of licensed care providers. The Clinical Nurse Partner will assist the unit to deliver safe, quality patient care, including but not limited to: baby baths, transport & discharges, clerical duties, vital signs, perineal care, specimen collection, serves as a resource for patients, families, physicians, staff, and visitors. The Clinical Nurse Partner will embody the philosophies of Building Connections.

Job Requirements

Minimum Experience Requirement:

At least one year of acute care experience is preferred. One year CNA experience is preferred. Excellent customer skills required.

Minimum License Requirement:

Certified Nurse Assistant required. BLS required.

Assaultive Behavior Training Certification that meets AB508 and SB1299 required within 30 days of hire/transfer. New hires that have completed Assaultive Behavior training outside of Emanate Health will be required to complete Emanate Health Work Place Violence online awareness module within 30 days of hire/transfer. Annual 8 hours of Orthopedic Education required for those working at QVH.
