The Clinical Manager is the clinical and business leader of a specific patient care unit(s) with accountability for planning, organizing, staffing, coaching and motivating a professional team so that safe and effective care is delivered. The Clinical Manager is responsible for operations, human resources, financial management and the clinical outcomes of the unit(s). The Clinical Manager provides direction and vision for the department (s) and exemplifies the RUSH#Copley mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with policies and procedures.
This position works closely with all multidisciplinary team members to assure the highest degree of quality care is followed at all times#keeping the care and safety of the patient population as a top priority. Primary Responsible for leading all aspects of the unit#s clinical operations, including but not limited to oversight of clinical staff and scheduling, patient flow, patient satisfaction, resource allocation, etc. Position Requirements:# Nursing degree#at the baccalaureate level or higher required.
####Graduate degree preferred
. Graduate degree is required if hired into role after January 2017, within three years.
####Specialty certification preferred
; required within two years of hire. 3-5 years experience in current Med Surg II setting with progressive leadership responsibilities.# #
