Clinical Nurse Manager

The Clinical Nurse Manager is the clinical and business leader of the Progressive Care Unit (AKA Intermediate Care) and Central Telemetry with accountability for planning, organizing, staffing, coaching and motivating a professional team so that safe and effective care is delivered. The Clinical Manager is responsible for operations, human resources, financial management and the clinical outcomes of the units.

The Clinical Manager provides direction and vision for the departments and exemplifies the Rush Copley mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with policies and procedures. This position works closely with all multidisciplinary team members to assure the highest degree of quality care is followed at all times, keeping the care and safety of the patient population as a top priority. Reports to the Director of Critical Care and Respiratory Services.# Intermediate Care#is currently#a Gold level Beacon Unit as achieved through the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN).#
