As the Clinical Nurse Manager you will manage patient care delivery on up to three units, serving as a clinical resource and administrator in the absence of unit leaders or when care-related issues arise. Facilitates efficient and cost effective daily operations of the unit(s) in relation to patient throughput including admissions, discharges and transfers. Promotes a culture of safety and quality by ensuring continuity and consistency in the implementation of established standards, protocols, policies and procedures. In collaboration with the Director of Nursing, participates in the establishment of units short and long term goals and ensures its alignment with the hospital's overall strategic goals. Accountable for monitoring staff compliance with regulatory, hospital and divisional requirements.

This is a full-time night shift position at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist working from 10 hour shifts/4 days per week.

Preferred Criteria

  • Master's Degree in related area

Required Criteria

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)

  • Current New York State RN license

  • 2+ years of acute care RN experience in Pediatrics or NICU

  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification

  • BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association

$130,000-$155,000/Annual
