What You Will Do
As an Associate and Clinical Nurse Leader with Lourdes Hospital
Responsibilities in this role include:
Providing direction and support to unit staff. Supervising admissions, conducting assessment of patient's needs, and initiating nursing care plans. In addition to evaluating and documenting patient progress.
You will facilitate planning, implementation, development, and evaluation of nursing programs, initiatives and objectives for the unit.
You will assist with development and implementation of policies and procedures.
You will continually serve as a liaison between the manager, staff and other areas within the organization. Identifies and resolves issues affecting delivery of patient care services in a unit.
What You Will Need
Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the New York State Education Department Office of Professions obtained within 2 Weeks (14 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
Certified Certification credentialed from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). OR other national certifications in area of speciality recognized by ANCC that are included in the Magnet DDCT
Education & Work Experience:
Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
Must have a Bachelors degree in nursing within five (5) years of hire and At least one year of patient care experience required.
