Seeking Clinical Nurse Coordinator!

Baptist Health Floyd, Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit- STICU

Full-time (40 Hours Weekly), Nights (8-hour shifts)

Job Duties:

In this role, the Nurse Coordinator is responsible for providing assistance to the department Nurse Manager in planning, organizing, directing and evaluating nursing services of the unit. Collaborates with Quality Manager to support quality initiatives and performance improvement activities.

About the Unit:

The Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit is a 16-bed adult surgical and trauma-focused unit, providing specialized care for patients requiring critical care pre and post-operatively, neurosurgical patients, and those whose mechanisms of injury require intensive caring. New graduate RNs are welcome.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an approved nursing program with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.

Current Indiana or compact state RN license.

BLS for Healthcare Provider required.

ACLS Certification required (obtained within 12 months of hire).

NIHSS Stroke Certification required (Obtained within 10 weeks of hire).

At least one (1) year of nursing experience required.

Experience as a Charge Nurse or Supervisor preferred.

Quality Improvement/Data Analysis experience preferred.
