Clinical Nurse Admin

POSITION SUMMARY The Clinical Nurse Administrator manages clinical and administrative operations in the hospital during off hours and weekends. Responsibilities require knowledge of hospital/nursing policies and procedures, excellent organizational and communication skills, and collaboration with the providers, staff, department directors and the administrator on-call. The Clinical Nurse Administrator oversees the flow of patients throughout the hospital and provides supervision and support to the hospital#s patient care areas.

QUALIFICATION EDUCATION:

Graduate of an accredited RN program, BSN preferred. EXPERIENCE/SKILL SETS: Proven leadership and time management skills are required. Emergency/Critical Care nursing experience is preferred. Clinical management experience preferred. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION(S): Vermont RN license ACLS required PALS preferred NRP preferred
