RN Emergency Department

Wellington Regional Medical Center's Emergency department is a 38 bed unit in Western Palm Beach County and sees a diverse patient population. At Wellington, the Emergency Department is equipped with the staff and capabilities to see patients throughout the lifespan.

Nurses in the Wellington Regional Medical Center Emergency Department can expect nursing to patient ratios that are in-line with the Emergency Nursing Association recommendations. Wellington Regional Medical Center is a Comprehensive Stroke Center, Chest Pain & Resuscitation Accredited, and cares for large number of highly acute patients using the most cutting edge approaches in their delivery of care.

The Clinical Manager assumes responsibility and accountability for coordinating the activities and providing clinical and administrative leadership and expertise in one or more defined areas of the facility. Coordinates multi-disciplinary team members, directs and facilitates staff in obtaining safe, optimal health care outcomes.

Supports activities that meet the facility vision, mission and goals. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. Understands that patient-centered care provides the foundation for all nursing activities. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times.

Job Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program. BSN preferred.

  • Current Florida state nursing license.

  • Certification in area of specialty preferred.

  • Minimum three (3) years experience in acute care specialty nursing. One (1) to three (3) years supervisory experience preferred.

  • Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS and/or required specialty training or course completion (current upon hire) as required by specialty.
