Clinical Manager (Rn), Two North B

MAIN FUNCTION: The Clinical Manager will supervise, direct and support the staff on each unit.

She/he will consistently demonstrate proficiency in working with complex patients according to the unit's scope of practice. He/she will provide clinical leadership through development and maintenance of standards. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.

Other duties may be assigned. Accountable for the delivery of patient care utilizing the nursing process.

• Participates in activities designed for professional growth, and staff development

• Demonstrates leadership skills.

• Contributes to the productivity and efficient operation of the department.

• Provide the care needed as described in the unit's department's policies and procedures.

Demonstrates leadership skills and is responsible for keeping informed on and assuring compliance with JCAHO recommendations. Responsible for the cost effective management Departments.

Responsible for the quality of the staff. Responsible for quality assurance of departments.Responsible for the activities of both units and the management of. Facilitates the developments of nursing staff in both departments.

EDUCATION: Current CT RN Licensure required; BSN with Speciallty Certification preferred.

EXPERIENCE: Proven track record of managing & developing employees including team building & progressive discipline. Superior influencing skills & solid communication skills

Program development & success. Proven progressive leadership with a minimum of 3 years of management experience.

Proven track record of success with day to day operations of the departments. Someone who can take the departments to the next level.
