Clinical Liaison (RN / RRT)

Responsibilities

The Clinical Liaison role is an excellent opportunity for Nurses, Respiratory Therapists and other hospital clinicians to step away from bedside care and focus on helping patients get placement in the bst level of care when leaving the hospital. You will travel to referring hospitals in Center City Philadelphia to perform clinical assessments, discuss discharge plans, and meet with families of referred pateints who will move to Select for the next phase of their recovery. You are a resource for referring hospitals and healthcare professionals: helping them navigate insurance hurdles and other barriers to discharge.

• Get your steps in! travel to major hospital systems in Center City Philadelphia to help patients tarnsition out of the hospital and into one of Select's Critical Illness Recovery Hospitals

• Use your clinical expertise as you conduct clinical assessments of referred patients, and counsel with doctors, discharge planners and families regardin the best transition of care the patient.

• Step away from the bedside, but play and active role inhelping patients in your community safely transition to the next, best level of care for recovery

This is a salaried position that works Monday-Friday with periodic on-call responsibility. No bedside care responsibilities.

Qualifications

We are seeking results-driven team players. Qualified candidates must be passionate about providing superior quality in all that they do.

Minimum requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN), Respiratory Therapist (RT) License, or other clinical license

• Two or more years of experience working at the bedside in a hospital

• Outgoing personality and exceptional communications skills

Preferred qualifications that will make you successful:

• ICU experience

• Sales, marketing, consulting, or customer service experience
