Lifepoint Rehabilitation, a business unit of Lifepoint Health, is building a new rehabilitation hospital in Lynnwood, Washington, Providence Swedish Rehabilitation Hospital, Lynnwood. Expected to open in August 2024, this 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital operating jointly with Lifepoint Rehabilitation and Providence Regional Medical Center Everett, is more than a job. What you will do in this role:

• Assist and coordinate in-take and pre-admission screening process

• Ability to review patient medical charts and understand pharmaceuticals, test results, therapy evaluations, pre-existing conditions, and have a general medical knowledge of the patient

• Perform on-site (typically in referring facility) pre-admission assessments to assist with facilitating Physician review of patient's clinical appropriateness for admission to inpatient rehabilitation

• Communicates to patients and families rehabilitation and facility options. Communicates to patients determined appropriate for admission the patient's expectations and requirements for participation

• Functions as initial contact for external case management and discharge planner personnel with payors and hospital facilities

• Completes face to face, in-service education contacts to physicians. And face-to-face, in-service educational contacts to case managers, and other professionals

• Inform and educate physicians, case managers, and other decision makers about the locations and acute rehabilitation services

• Performs market analysis, market research and development and implementation of marketing and business plans

• Develops marketing plans for assigned programs, which includes market analysis and financial feasibility studies

• Other duties as assigned

• Clinical licensure required

• Bachelor's degree preferred

• Previous marketing/sales experience preferred

• Previous clinical experience preferred with demonstrated skills in clinical assessment and EMR systems

• Formal sales training preferred

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills

• Salary range: $79,000 - $110,614 USD per year. We would expect those hired into this job would be paid within this yearly rate, however, certain circumstances may allow us to pay outside of this yearly rate.
