We have a new position for a Clinical Lead Medical Assistant (MA) with Main Line HealthCare's center in Exton Square, Exton PA.

The Clinical Lead is a Multi-skilled health professional who works independently with other health care professionals to provide quality health care to the patient.

This is a Part Time, 36 hour/week position that includes evening and holiday rotation. Weekend requirement includes 1.5 in 4 weekends.

Responsibilities to include:

  • Ensures proper staffing of clinical staff and schedules per work load requirements.

  • Ensures communication of policies, procedures, changes to clinical staff.

  • In conjunction with management, monitors employee development, plans/ensures new hire training and staff development as well as assist with implementation and follow up of all new processes.

  • Monitors all ordering of clinical supplies, (including equipment, vaccines, pharmaceuticals), inventory control and verification of shipments, and security of same in accordance with standard operating procedures.

  • Leads and develops topic agendas for practice level staff meetings

  • Responsible to ensure all relevant Point-of-Care Testing quality assurance tests are completed.

  • Ensures accurate completion of all pertinent safety check lists as assigned

  • Performance Management and appraisal input

  • Direct Medical Assistant staff to ensure patient flow

  • Engaged in Practice Quality and Process Improvement initiative

  • Assist in implementing new clinical policies and procedures.

  • Perform basic Medical Assistant tasks, including but not limited to, vital signs, routine blood draws, immunization, injections point of care testing, and EKG's and provides care that is consistent with Main Line HealthCare's policies and external regulations and requirements

  • Prepare patients for physician/practitioner exams

  • Complete the nursing portion of the patient medical records using approved documentation standards

  • Assist physicians/practitioners as requested for basic and emergency procedures

  • Maintain smooth patient flow by monitoring physician/practitioner work and anticipating their needs

Education/Licenses/Certifications:

  • Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant Program

  • BLS for Healthcare Providers required at time of hire or within 30 days of start date

  • Current CPR Certification

  • Medical Assistant Certification required at time of hire

Experience:

  • Proficient in medical procedures and medical terminology required

  • Two or more years Medical Assistant experience required

  • Prior Supervisor/ Lead experience preferred

  • Experience working in a Urgent Care setting is preferred

  • Knowledge of personal computer and relevant software applicants preferred

  • Knowledge of third party payers preferred

We have a new position for a Cardiac Sonographer at our Women's Specialty Center in King of Prussia, PA This position will rotate to multiple locations. The Surgery Scheduler will be working 40 hour/week position Monday- Friday. 7:45am-4:15pm. No evening, weekend or holiday requirements. Cardiology Sonographer Performs a variety of ultrasound procedures for the interpretation by; and at the request of a licensed practitioner. Exercises professional judgment in performance of services following established protocols and maintains a demeanor complimentary to MLH standards and medical ethics. Provides appropriate care for all patient populations. Demonstrates ability to work independently in provision of services. * Prepare patient for echo and treadmill stress testing. * Obtains signed consent for stress testing. * Evaluates abnormal pathology and notifies physician of any life-threatening or relevant test data and /or condition. * Verifies patient's clinical history, ensuring information is accurate, documented and available for use by a licensed practitioner. * Selects and operates ultrasound equipment, imaging and associated accessories to successfully complete an examination. * Evaluates images for technical quality, assuring proper identification are recorded and resolves PACS and Information Systems documentation QA issues. * Applies principles of confidentiality (HIPAA) to all patient matters. * Performs daily Crash Cart/Defibrillator check. * Ability to troubleshoot equipment, arranges service with the manager of the labs. * Handles all clerical duties associated with the echo lab including preparation of studies for review, logging, archiving, entering charges into EMR and CD duplication as required. Qualifications: Education: * Graduate of a cardiovascular technology program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). Licensures & Certifications: * ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RCS required. * New Graduates - Registration must be obtained within 1 year of date of hire.
