In this position you develop and enter Specimen Testing Plans (SPT) and code Informed Consents. In addition, you perform Enhanced Monitoring functions and assist with the development and maintenance of training documents for clients in sync with new system releases. The Clinical Laboratory Specialist will also assist QA in regulatory certifications (ISO, Data Privacy, etc.), validation processes, and SOP writing. You must have a strong understanding of laboratory testing with great attention to detail and precision skills. This is a great opportunity for a Medical Technologist (Med Tech) or Scientist who is looking to work outside of a lab.

This is an office based position out of our Raleigh, NC facility.


What we're looking for

The qualifications of an ideal candidate include:

  • A Bachelor's degree, preferably in science or a related field

  • Strong drive for process optimization and data integrity

  • Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and manage in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of initiative

  • Proficiency in the use of standard Microsoft suite of software products


  • At least 3 years of experience working in clinical trials, laboratory, or specimen management; or a combination of education, training, and experience

  • Experience in molecular biology, Clinical Pharmacogenomics or biomarker research is highly preferred
