Louisville, KY - Will need to spend 1-2 months in Framingham, MA to train Compensation: $80 – 100k / Salary Type: Direct Hire Overview We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinical Laboratory Manager to oversee the operations of our clinical laboratory. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of laboratory procedures and regulations, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities: Oversee daily clinical lab operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to protocols Supervise and evaluate laboratory staff Develop and implement compliant policies and procedures Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment Manage inventory and procurement of supplies and reagents Develop and implement quality control measures Conduct regular quality assurance audits Monitor proficiency testing and ensure regulatory compliance Investigate and resolve quality-related issues and complaints Oversee inventory management and maintain inventory control systems Conduct periodic inventory audits Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, FDA, and OSHA regulations Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary updates Prepare for and participate in inspections and audits Requirements: Bachelor's in Medical Laboratory Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related field; Master's preferred MB(ASCP) certification 6 years in a clinical lab, with 2 years in a supervisory role Strong knowledge of lab operations and quality control Familiarity with CLIA, CAP, and other regulatory standards Proficient in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office M3
