POSITION SUMMARY This position is entry level and is responsible for the receipt of biological specimens into the department, preparation of samples for analytical testing, and performing testing. This position reports to department supervisor and takes direction from higher level technical personnel. Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in chemical, physical or biological science . Ability to perform detailed work; work with frequent interruptions, multi-task, problem solve and memorization, ability to take direction and assimilate instructions quickly. Good organizational skills and must be able to communicate effectively in both oral and written formats. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Additional related education and/or experience.
